I know, after my first "February" post, I'm sure we all assumed that I'd pick "Bad Feminist" as my book for February. This is something I don't say often, "You were right!" This is a book that hits on each of my February themes. It is written by a Black author, is a feminist work (February is for Feminists) and the pink lettering on the cover hints at love and romance! Hey, don't judge. It works.

I'm so excited to start reading this book! Spoiler alert: It's still January, and I've already started it. Finally, someone has written a book about feminism to which I can fully relate! As my 2011 Tumblr post states, "I hate myself for liking, no loving 'No Hands'." I too, am a bad feminist. Thank you Roxane Gay for allowing us the space to let our freak flags fly.

Since I want to proudly display this book on my shelf, I ventured to 2 Barnes and Noble Booksellers to get it, on opposite ends of the city, may I add. Sorry, Kansas City Public Library, maybe next month.
